White Water Rafting

Join the Raft Daft crew for one of the most popular activities in Scotland for all ages (10 years and up).

Adrenalin Junkie? – Then enjoy the thrills and spills of negotiating, at speed, live rapids on some of Scotland’s wildest rivers. Don’t worry – you will get wet. And for all budding Jack Sparrows out there – put into practice your pirate manoeuvres as you out paddle your companions.

Rafting is for all abilities with a choice of river sections appropriate for all kinds of groups.

No experience necessary as you will have a fully qualified guide steering your raft and cracking some really bad jokes.

All equipment is supplied - a wet suit, a buoyancy aid and a safety helmet.

Which River?

River Tay

Stanley section - 3.5 miles - Grade 2/3 - Close to Glasgow and Edinburgh a good fun intro to rafting for all.

Aberfeldy Section - 6 miles - Grade 3 - A longer section with some of the best rapids on the Tay. The trip starts with 3 miles of flattish water to get you into the swing of things.

River Tummel

3.5 miles Grade 4 Not for the faint hearted! A tight technical trip finishing at the Linn Of Tummell Waterfall (Only available at weekends during summer months due to dam releasing)

Rainy Day Rivers

For those who want something a bit different we can organize trips on other rivers that may be rain dependant.

Raft Guide Training

We can deliver Scottish Rafting Association guide training courses in a venue that suits you as well as Technical workshops and Practical Assessments.

River Boogieboarding

Control freaks need not apply!

Try the newest craze to hit the rivers of Scotland - ‘surfing the rapids’ – the ultimate action packed adventure.

Crash through waves and stoppers whilst lying on your foam board kicking your fins to try and gain some control.

All equipment is supplied – a boogie board, a wet suit, a buoyancy aid and a safety helmet.

You bring the sense of humour!
