Terms & Conditions - These terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of your Adventure. Please read them carefully.
- You must book and complete your Adventure within the 12 month period from the date of issue overleaf.
- All Adventures are subject to availability and must be booked as far in advance as possible and no later than 14 days in advance for peak times such as school & bank holidays and weekends. Unless otherwise stated, your Adventure may involve some waiting time and you will have to take your turn with other Adventurers.
- Some Alba Adventures may be subject to age, health or other restrictions. Wherever possible these are detailed in the information accompanying your Adventure Certificate. If your Adventure seems unsuitable for you because of these restrictions, please contact Alba Adventures to arrange a more suitable Adventure.
- If Alba Adventures decides (at its sole discretion) that you are unfit or unable to participate in your Adventure, we may require you to with draw from your Adventure. If this happens, you will not be entitled to a refund or exchange.
- Some Adventures are weather dependent or may otherwise be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. In these cases Alba Adventures is unable to reimburse travel or other expenses incurred by you in attending your adventure. We advise that you contact us by telephone before setting out to confirm that your Adventure will be running. Please note: weather conditions in Scotland can change rapidly and, for your safety, Alba Adventures reserve the right to cancel Adventures up to and including the start of the Adventure.
- Once your booking has been made and confirmed, you may only change your booking with the agreement of Alba Adventures. Cancellation or postponement may be subject to cancellation fees if we are unable to fill your place. If we need to cancel or postpone your adventure, we will contact you as soon as possible and make every to offer a convenient alternative date or Adventure.
- Please note that Alba Activities Adventure Certificates are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Alba Adventures. A minimum number of people are needed for some Adventures to run. In the unlikely event that minimum numbers are not achieved, Alba Adventures reserve the right to postpone or cancel courses.
- By purchasing an Alba Adventures Adventure Certificate, you acknowledge that the Adventures are dependent on certain factors beyond Alba Adventure's control and you agree that Alba Adventures shall not be liable for the cancellation or postponement of any Adventure for reasons beyond its reasonable control including weather related reasons, mechanical failures or otherwise.
