Launched in June 1997, Alba Adventures has grown from a one-man operation to a highly successful outdoor adventure business. Managing Director, John Johnston, started the company after being made redundant. “I’d been an outdoor instructor with a local authority and was made redundant so it seemed a logical move to start my own outdoor adventure company.” From that start Alba Adventures was born.
‘I’m a great believer in using the great natural playground of Scotland so it was a simple and logical choice to call the business Alba Adventures. It summarises what we offer - adventures in the outdoors in Scotland,‘ said John.
From our very small beginnings, Alba Adventures has steadily grown to the eminent market position it has today. Our clients now include a roll call of blue-chip names, local authorities and individuals. Recent investment saw the company move into larger premises allowing Alba to offer a wider range of services to clients. You’ll see details of our new services and our new activities elsewhere on the website.
So what are we doing in the next 10 years? You know we have track record in delivering the kind of development activities you want.
